Adobe Releases Patches for Mac and PC

On the same day Microsoft released it's monthly patches, Adobe released updates for version 7.0.x of the Adobe Reader. For Mac and Unix, version 7.0.9 is now the most recent version available. For PCs, versions 7.0.9 and version 8.0 are both secure. To check which version of Adobe Reader you have, open the program and select About Adobe Reader from the Help Menu. To check for updates to your version, open the program and select Check for Updates Now... from the Help Menu.

To upgrade Adobe Reader, visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getreader. For technical information on the vulnerabilities, see this Adobe Security Bulletin.
