On the same day Microsoft released patches, we also saw two important security updates from Adobe for Flash Player and Photoshop.
For those who are unfamiliar with Flash Player, it is installed with almost every web browser. Lots of web sites use flash for some or all of their content. For example, most animated banner ads use flash and all You Tube videos are streamed using flash. To check which version of Flash Player you have installed, visit About Flash Player. If your version is less than 9,0,47,0 then you need to visit the Flash Player Download Center to upgrade. See Adobe Security Bulletin 07-12 for more information.
The patches for Photoshop correct critical a file vulnerability in Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS2. See Adobe Security Bulletin 07-13 for more information and instructions on how to patch the software.
