Celebrating Black History Month . . .Check Out These Videos, Literally

In honor of Black History Month, Deja Vu will be highlighting titles from our collection that focus on the ASALH Black History theme for 2007: the transition from slavery to freedom of peoples of African descent in the Americas.

Our selected titles include feature films and documentaries, but all give information about or illuminate the struggle for freedom that is a defining theme in African American history. These are films that deserve your attention--and to make sure they get it, we're letting students check them out, for 24 hours or over a weekend, during the month of February! The complete list of titles is available at the Media Services circulation desk, Ansin Building, third floor.
