Preview of the Week!

Our first Dejeuner au Cinema of the summer will be:
Thirst, a 62 minute documentary by Alan Sniton and Deborah Kaufman:
"Is water part of a shared "commons", a human right for all people? Or is it a commodity to be bought, sold, and traded in a global marketplace?"
Come for all, or part of the fun: in the conference room, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

M.T.:

Preview update:
one thumb up, one down, one kind of up-and-down.
Definitely interesting subject: water rights in context of globalism, multi-nationals, third world development, poltical process. But . . .
not particularly clear, tended to conflate issues, not well organized.
