Reminder: Daylight Savings Time Starts March 11

Congress passed a law as part of the United States's Energy Policy Act of 2005 to begin Daylight Savings Time three weeks earlier on March 11, 2007 and end one week later on November 4, 2007.

The time between the old and new DST dates is sometimes referred to as the Extended Daylight Savings Time period.

Old DST start date: First Sunday in April (would have been April 1, 2007)
NEW DST start date: Second Sunday in March (will begin at 2:00 A.M. on March 11, 2007)

Old DST end date: Last Sunday in October (would have been October 28, 2007)
NEW DST end date: First Sunday in November (will at 2:00 A.M. on November 4, 2007)

The problem created by this is previously scheduled Outlook and Entourage calendar items will appear off by one hour during the four weeks of Extended DST. There are steps which you can take to correct this side effect.
