The Banner listserv provides a forum in which group members can post practical questions and get responses from other Banner users with hands-on experience. The discussion groups are product-specific and the instructions for joining easy to follow. Some lists that may be of interest include but are not limited to:
- BALUMNI (Alumni Discussion List)
- BADM (Admissions and Recruiting)
- BAR (Account Receivable)
- BFINANCE (Finance)
- BGENERAL (General)
- BHUMRES(HR and Position Control)
- BPURCHASING (Purchasing)
- BREPORTING (Reporting)
- BSTUDENT (Student data)
To join a Banner discussion group, go to
http://lists.sungardhe.com.
If this is your first time entering the site, you will need to register a password using your Emerson email address. For security reasons, do not use your ECnet password.
The Listserv Administrator will send you a message confirming your registration and password.
To subscribe to a list, return to
http://lists.sungardhe.com and log in using your new password.
Click the list(s) in which you are interested, such as BSTUDENT.
Under
Options, click
Join or Leave BSTUDENT. In the
Name field, type
Subscribe BSTUDENT Your Name and at the bottom of the page, click
Join BSTUDENT.
You will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription by
clicking on a link. After confirming your subscription, you will receive guidelines and instructions for using the listerv.
