Burrito Taste-off!

Recently over lunch, the library conducted a taste-test face-off of 3 local vegetarian burritos. 5 Iwasaki Library staff participated, each ranking the burritos on a 5 point scale. The following results display the closeness of this race for the best burrito close to campus.

Recommendation

Herrerra's

21

Best ingredients - e.g. black beans, not brown. Lacking spice. Most cheese.

Next time, ask for extra hot sauce, and a little less cheese!

Boloco

16

Most spicy! Tortilla was different, too much rice. Most salty. Least expensive (by $0.25)

Next time, ask for less rice, and any variety ingredients. (Note, while in 3rd place, Boloco won the highest score from any single judge - a 4.5)

Maria's Taqueria

18.5

Largest - but mostly rice. Warmest upon arrival - using the "2nd-steaming" method.

Next time, ask for less rice, and a little more salt and hot sauce.
