Ok. Snow in Boston... I am from Upstate New York. I am used to being snowed in my house under twenty feet of snow for a week at least twice a year.
But at least when we got that much snow, it was properly taken care of (usually).

That is just not the case in Boston however.
As soon as there is half a foot of snow here, its all over.

The City should just post a big sign somewhere that says:
"If it snows here...YOU ARE FUCKED."

The fine print should read as follows:

As soon as you see one flake of snow, just go inside and stay there until it melts because we sure as hell will not be attempting to remove it in any way, shape or form.
As for your car. It WILL be towed. Just sit tight and in a few days you can get it back...if you pay out your ass for it. And if you can't afford the costs, don't worry. It will be kept until you can pay it at a charge of a million dollars a day.
You can try to walk to the T, but you will fall, because we have never heard of salting the roads and sidewalks. And everyone will laugh. Enjoy the snow.

So needless to say, I had to take the T to work (falling in route) after I spent a good portion of my day digging my car out of a mess of snow just so that I could not make it up the icy hill of my parking lot...because I had to.
