No seriously. I had to.
You know its really bad when you wake up in the morning and gag because your room is such a mess.
And I know the liter of Jack Daniels I had last night had nothing to do with it.
My room is...was that bad.

mess.jpgHere is a short list of some of the things that upset my stomach this morning...
     1. I could not see my floor as it was covered in clothes and debris.
     2. my dog had ripped a tea bag apart all over my desk that was also covered in debris.
     3. There are dead flowers that are starting to smell but were so pretty and my boyfriend got them for me so I can't bear to through them out.
     4. Not to mention the fact that my dog threw up everywhere and on everything. For a 5lb    dog, she can throw up A LOT.

So, I spent a good deal of my day cleaning my room. Because I had to. For health, safety, and sanity reasons.

Because my dad cashed my check. damn it.

Maybe this could have been avoided if only I had found this hat in time to give to him.

dadhat.jpgOr maybe not. Sucking up couldn't hurt though. Now I'll never know. Because I had to pay 65 bucks.

today I remembered I was driving...because I had to.

I was going down Beacon Street today and just as I was approaching St. Mary's Street, I started to wonder why I was not going into the tunnel. I was perplexed, dazed and confused.

This is when I remembered that I was not on the T, but in fact driving my car down Beacon.

...(What I thought I was doing)...

                        ...(What I WAS doing)

And thank god I did because the white volvo beside me probably would not have been happy had I forgotten to turn my wheel. Or maybe since I seemed to be on autopilot, this might not have occured. Who the hell knows?

Now, I began to think, what does this mean for me? Perhaps I am working too much, trying to do too many things.

None-the-less, it is time to regroup when you have to many things on your mind to remember that you are driving.

Because remembering you are driving while you are driving is something that YOU HAVE TO DO.

Refunding the parental...because I had to.

Today I had to write my dad a check for $200.

money2dad.jpg

In all fairness I was really just paying him back. I begged him for it a month earlier so my I could pay my rent therefore avoiding awkward tensions with my landlord, good 'ole R.B., until I could get the money. But without having a job last month, that would have been a daunting task.

So, I put my self-respect and dignity aside and called my dad.

So if you are reading this dad...thanks for keeping from my then unemployed student ass off the street for an extra month and keeping R.B. and I happy.
p.s. I didn't include interest as I may or may not have previously led you to believe.
p.p.s. If you don't happen to actually cash the check that would be alright too. For two reasons:
        1) Who knows if by the time you get the check and take it to the bank the money has not already been spent on necessities (rent, clothes, food, alcohol, etc,..)
2). Its the thought of paying you back that counts right? (Now picture my cutest most innocent face)

Now to all reading this, I might need money for gas this monty...*hint, hint*

I'm only asking because I have to! I'll pay you back! Promise!

Going to Work...because, you guessed it, I have to.

I figure we can get this one right out into the open. Its obvious. Its not pleasant. Its work. And we all have to do it.
Unless our parents are billionaires, then its optional.

....which in some cases shouldn't even be attempted. Not that we didn't love your acting performances Paris. *cough* And I'm talking about the movie "House of Wax."

So now thats out of the way.
Im going to work...because I have to. :(

I'm writing this blog...because I have to.

Let's face it. Every single day brings unique opportunities that allow us to do things that we would not normally do. These experiences mold us and make us grow into better and well-rounded individuals. NOT.
These are the things we do out of complete necessity. The things we do simply because we have to
I don't care who you are, at least once a day you do something that you don't really want to do. Whether it be work, or a chore, or something to make someone else happy, etc. You get the point.

Take me for example. I am writing this blog...because I have to. : )

I'm not saying that I have anything against blogs, blogging, or bloggers...well yes I am. What's the point anyways? Any person with access to the internet can do it. And most people seem to be making use of it. They are doing us a favor by posting every detail of their day on-line because they know just how interested everyone is in their lives (*sarcasm*). No offense. It's probably a very nice and interesting life. Just keep it to yourself!

So feel free to comment, positively or negatively on things that I do because I have to. And sorry if this includes parts of my day that no one really gives a shit about. Give me a break..I have to do it.
Or maybe there are things that you do because you have to that you want to share as well!
Peace.
