Late night dinner

Wednesday nights are the worst, especially last night!

I decided to take the T into Boston from Quincy yesterday and paid the price for it last night because I had to take the return trip from Boston to Quincy via the lovely Red Line.

I figured I would save on some money to buy lunch considering I was spending the whole day at school. I had my noon graduate assistant class which I like to call my grad. ass. class and then I had 4 hours inbetween to wait for Interactive News. By the time I returned to my apartment last night it was 10:30 pm.

I kissed the girlfriend and chit-chatted a bit and then turned my attention to dinner.

I have always heard it is bad to eat right before you go to bed. Not sure where I read this or who told me? Maybe it was my wise old French-Canadian mother. The same one who gave us 3 big buckets of sauce to take back with us when we visited Maine this past weekend.

Maybe a bowl of cereal last night may have been sufficent but noooooooo...

I went with a full-course meal...Made some pasta..Heated up this marinara sauce with meatballs...Baked up 6 or 7 chicken tenders and threw them into my bowl of spaghetti for my own little chicken parm/meatball dinner. All of this at nearly 11 pm at night.

Of course, I had a piece of blueberry pie that was just looking kind of lonely sitting there on the counter.

I went to bed around 11:30 pm.

When I got out of the shower this morning, I paraded myself in front of the mirror. This was not a pretty sight to behold! I will save the excruciating details but let me just say I think I may have to order The Bro. I hear it's a big seller in Japan thanks to George's father on Seinfeld.

I have already made reservations to the gym for this evening. Yeah..yeah..you have heard it before..I know but this time I mean it! I swear! For the love of God! I am not lying!

Next Weds., I am bound and determined to drive to school as to not eat so late at night.

Damn that train!
